Sweet Harmony at Sweet Heart: Symphony Strikes All the Right Notes

Exclusive Event Celebrates Wine Club Members with Performance by Fort Collins Symphony, Donates $8,000

Assistant Conductor, Adam Torres and FC Symphony Chamber Orchestra

LOVELAND, CO – September 18, 2025 – Sweet Heart Winery, recently named one of the Top 10 Wineries in the U.S. by The Scout Guide and recognized as one of the fastest-growing wine clubs in America, hosted the inaugural Symphony at Sweet Heart this week—an exclusive, sold-out event for its Wine Club members.

The event was inspired by Sweet Heart Winery’s mission to “Create experiences for people to connect.” Charles Oster, CEO of Sweet Heart Brands, explained: “The whole concept was about value—bringing something truly special for our Wine Club members. Whether you’re connecting with your sweetheart, family, or friends, or whether we’re able to connect you to causes or art, we believe in connection.”

Sweet Heart Brands CEO, Charles Oster

That vision led Oster and Wendy Fanning, Executive Director of the Fort Collins Symphony, into a collaboration that paired Sweet Heart’s most celebrated wine with Northern Colorado’s premier symphonic talent. Together, they created a first-of-its-kind private performance to unveil the winery’s 2024 vintage of Symphony, a rare California hybrid grape that blends muscat and grenache.

“We are thrilled to partner with Sweet Heart Winery for this incredible event,” said Wendy Fanning, Executive Director of the Fort Collins Symphony. “Bringing live symphonic music into such a beautiful and intimate setting creates an unforgettable experience. It’s inspiring to see a winery so deeply committed to the arts in our community.”

Maestro Wes Kenney, now in his 21st season as Music Director of the Fort Collins Symphony, a Professor Emeritus at Colorado State University and recipient of numerous honors including the American Prize and Ernst Bacon Memorial Prize, is known for his wide-ranging repertoire spanning orchestral works, opera, and ballet. A chamber orchestra, conducted by Adam Torres delighted guests with masterful performances. Torres, the Assistant Director for Fort Collins Symphony is also a wine Sommelier.

The finale on Wednesday drew cheers as Oster invited the audience to join him in gifting each musician a bottle of Sweet Heart’s Symphony wine—a gesture met with roaring applause.

Commitment to the Arts

The Symphony at Sweet Heart also highlighted Sweet Heart Winery’s long-standing support of the arts. The winery has displayed local art in its tasting room, supported Loveland’s Art in the Park, and is preparing to host a full art exhibit later this year. In addition, Sweet Heart Winery has committed an $8,000 donation to the Fort Collins Symphony to further its mission of enriching Northern Colorado through music.

“This partnership represents the very best of Northern Colorado—world-class wine and world-class music coming together,” added Fanning. “We’re grateful to Sweet Heart Winery not only for their generosity but for elevating the arts as an essential part of community life.”

Wine Club at the Center

The Symphony at Sweet Heart was not a ticketed public event but a private showcase of appreciation for Wine Club members, reflecting the winery’s commitment to delivering unmatched value and exclusivity.

“It was a beautiful night with beautiful music,” said Megan Nickelson, Marketing Coordinator at Sweet Heart Winery. “Our members were in awe, and you could feel the joy of the experience throughout the crowd.”

Rob Larson, Partner and Head of Business Development, echoed the sentiment: “We’ve built one of the fastest-growing wine clubs in America because we offer more than just great wine—we offer connection, experiences, and unforgettable moments. This event was proof of that.”
