Sweet Heart Winery Named 2025 Small Business of the Year by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Loveland, CO — October 18, 2025

Sweet Heart Winery, part of Sweet Heart Brands, has been named the 2025 Small Business of the Year by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the company’s rapid growth, community impact, and unwavering commitment to its mission: “Create experiences for people to connect.”

At the Chamber’s annual award presentation, Mindy McCloughan, President and CEO of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, shared that the Small Business of the Year award honors companies that “demonstrate innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, exemplary customer service, high standards of integrity, professionalism and ethics, extraordinary examples to staff and other businesses, solid financial performance, a business history of continuous service over time, and deep community involvement and contribution.”

In a heartfelt message to his team following the announcement, Charles Oster, CEO of Sweet Heart Brands, shared:

“We did it — Small Business of the Year belongs to you!”

“This award doesn’t belong to one person. It belongs to our customers and our team — the people who have believed in us, supported us, and helped us grow from the very beginning, from our founders to our newest employees and wine club members. To every guest who’s joined us for a glass of wine, a guided tasting, a wedding, a concert, or a quiet moment on the patio or by the river — this award is for you.

And to our incredible employees — the ones who poured wine, hosted corporate events, washed dishes, crushed grapes, analyzed data, cooked food, mowed grass, given wedding tours, decorated tables, cleaned kegs, created new flavors, scrubbed and mopped floors, worked weekends, tended flowers, innovated products, moved boxes, prepared charcuterie boards, plowed snow, marketed ferociously, created new menu items, worked early mornings and late nights, assembled furniture, built shelves, met business partners, and most importantly — believed in what we’re building and that it’s worth it.”

Oster continued:

“This recognition is a reflection of your heart, your hustle, and your belief in our shared mission — to create experiences for people to connect.

Farah and I are profoundly proud to serve alongside you. You are the ones who make Sweet Heart what it is — a place defined by hospitality, efficiency, love, and product. You embody our values daily, and you’ve turned this dream into a living, breathing reality.”

The Chamber’s Small Business of the Year award celebrates organizations that exemplify the best of Loveland’s business community. For Sweet Heart Winery, the recognition follows a year of tremendous growth — including expansion of its Wine Club (now among the fastest-growing in the country), the opening of Tesoro by Sweet Heart Wine in Old Town Fort Collins, and ongoing development of The Forge, its state of the art production wine and cider facility.

“Awards like this are simply reminders of what happens when a team commits fully — to excellence, to purpose, and to each other,” Oster said. “We are incredibly grateful to the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and to the entire Northern Colorado community for believing in what we do.”

Charles and Farah Oster receive award on behalf of the company on Oct 17
